Last Minute Looks & Reminders Before St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway

With the reveal of the big winner of the St. Jude Dream Home just days away, those who’ve reserved tickets are courting lady luck — and looking for one last peek at the Madison home located in New Kent’s idyllic Viniterra community.

We have some good news: you’ll have that last chance to tour the home on Saturday, June 21 from 9am-5pm and Sunday, June 22 from noon-5pm.

But if you can’t make it out for the first time (or last time) before the drawing that will happen live on 12onyourside on June 26, not to worry. That’s because we’ll walk you through the home right here: in words, thanks to Robin Gahan of Marble Moon Interiors, as well as pictures and video, thanks to StyleCraft’s Seth McCollum.

The Dream Home Decor’s Inspiration

Make no mistake, the Dream Home makes quite the impression. The Madison floor plan — a StyleCraft homeowner favorite —is big and bold, boasting 6 bedrooms, 4.5 baths, and a 2-car garage. From the main floor’s 3-season room to the second-floor loft and third-floor movie theater and game room, there’s a lot to love about this labor of love. And we haven’t even mentioned the Owner’s Suite, complete with oversized walk-in closets and luxury tub and shower. Or the potential prime office space offered by the first-floor flex room.

So, instead of detailing every feature of the Dream Home, step by step and room by room, let’s have Robin Gahan walk through her inspiration for the Dream Home’s striking decor.

“When walking through the doors of Richmond’s St. Jude Dream Home, I wanted people to immediately be struck by the textures, colors, and flow of each space and how intentional they feel,” she said. “But beyond beautiful finishes and smart floorplans, what makes a house truly memorable is how it connects emotionally with the people who experience it. Art does that and was central to my vision for the space.”

Gahan incorporated works from local artists throughout the home.

“These pieces carry the voices, perspectives, and lived experiences of the region. They reflect the cultural richness, from abstract expressions of the James River to bold abstract portraits of musicians,” she said.
