Inside the 2026 St. Jude Dream Home: StyleCraft's 8th Year of Giving Back

October 19, 2026

Every year, the Richmond St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway brings Central Virginia together around one goal: helping the kids of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. In 2026, that goal looked like a brand-new home in Hanover County, a sold-out ticket campaign, and $1.7 million raised for St. Jude. It also marked StyleCraft's eighth year building the Richmond St. Jude Dream Home.

The 2026 Dream Home was built at net zero cost, with StyleCraft and a team of trade partners and sponsors donating every hour of labor and every material. That means every ticket dollar went straight to St. Jude's lifesaving mission.

For a look at how ticket sales and open house weekends unfolded this spring, read our 2026 St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway update and explore the full 2026 Dream Home page.

Why Providence Was the Right Home for the 2026 Dream Home

A Dream Home should truly feel like a dream home, and that starts with location. For 2026, StyleCraft built the St. Jude Dream Home at 13596 Providence Run Road in Providence, a private Hanover County neighborhood near Ashland:

A private, established setting. Providence pairs a quiet, tucked-away feel with spacious homesites, giving the Dream Home room to breathe.

Desirable neighborhood amenities. Shared community spaces make Providence as easy to enjoy on a Saturday afternoon as it is to come home to every evening.

An ideal Hanover location. Ashland's small-town charm and easy access to the greater Richmond metro make Providence a convenient home base for work, school, and weekend plans.

Construction began with a groundbreaking on March 3, and by late April the home was nearly complete, right on schedule for June's open house weekends.

Inside the Taylor: StyleCraft's Newest Floor Plan

The 2026 St. Jude Dream Home debuted StyleCraft's brand-new Taylor floor plan, designed around first-floor living with plenty of room upstairs for family and guests.

The Taylor

4+ Beds | 3 Baths | 3,130 Sq Ft | 2 Stories | Valued at $700,000

The Taylor is built for both everyday living and entertaining. A first-floor Owner's Suite keeps the primary bedroom on the main level, while a café and family room flow seamlessly into a three-season room for year-round gatherings. The designer kitchen features Bosch appliances, a large island, and a walk-in pantry. Upstairs, a finished second floor adds a loft, a flex room, and a bedroom with a full bath.

To bring the Dream Home to life, interior designer Robin Gahan of Marble Moon Interiors partnered with Green Front Furniture to style every room visitors walked through during open house weekends.

How the 2026 St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway Came Together

From the first ticket to the final reveal, the Richmond community showed up for St. Jude at every step of the 2026 campaign:

Tickets sold out. Reservations opened March 25 at $100 per ticket, and Central Virginia bought every last one, with early prize deadlines in March, April, and June rewarding those who reserved first.

Open house weekends drew neighbors in. From June 6 through June 21, the Dream Home opened its doors on weekends from 12 to 5 pm, so anyone could tour the Taylor plan in person.

The winner was revealed live on June 25. Nazario Martinez of Richmond won the 2026 St. Jude Dream Home, and four more neighbors took home prizes: a 2026 Toyota Camry from Haley Automotive Group, a $10,000 Visa gift card from the Dream Day Foundation, a $10,000 custom storage system from Closet Factory, and a $10,000 shopping spree from Green Front Furniture.

Eight Years of Giving Back to St. Jude

The St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway has become one of the most meaningful traditions at StyleCraft. After eight years, here's what that partnership has added up to:

More than $9.7 million raised. The seven Richmond Dream Home Giveaways before 2026 raised more than $8 million for St. Jude, and this year's $1.7 million pushed that total even higher.

Care that families never pay for. St. Jude families never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing, or food. Every Dream Home ticket helps keep it that way, which is why StyleCraft founder and president Richard Kuhn calls the giveaway a way to provide free medical care for children going through an incredibly difficult time.

National recognition for a local effort. StyleCraft's 2025 Dream Home campaign with NBC12 was named Campaign of the Year by St. Jude nationally, a reflection of how strongly Richmond rallies behind this cause.

Why StyleCraft Builds the Richmond St. Jude Dream Home

Building a Dream Home at net zero cost takes a community. StyleCraft is proud to bring together trade partners, sponsors, and neighbors who donate their time, talent, and materials so that every dollar raised goes to St. Jude.

And you don't need a winning ticket to live in a home like this one. Versions of the Dream Home plan are available in StyleCraft communities across the Richmond metro, built with the same quality and care that went into the 2026 St. Jude Dream Home.

When you're ready to see what a StyleCraft home can look like for your family, we're ready to welcome you home.
